Help! Travelling to the US on vacation and want to buy from Sephora

Hi everyone! I am travelling to the US soon and I definitely want to pick up some stuff we don't have in Europe. The thing is that I don't want to spend a lot of time going from store to store trying to find the products I want. I was thinking of maybe placing an order online and selecting a FedEx pick up location near my hotel to save time, but I obviously don't have an American phone number. If you have used this option before, could you tell me if Sephora sends you an email with a QR code or something similar and if that is enough to collect your package? Or will I need an American phone number because they send a text message with a code to collect it? I really appreciate your help! Thanks!

I haven't done this before but Sephora has "pick up from the store" option. Maybe it's worth to check it out 😉
